As part of the Social Media Team at Pepperdine Graphic Media, I played a key role in driving digital engagement by strategizing how to increase story visibility through Instagram. I led discussions on how to optimize our social media presence to convert impressions into clicks, encouraging our audience to read featured articles by directing traffic to our website via the link in bio.
I created visually cohesive post designs using Canva that aligned with the feed aesthetic, while writing compelling, click-worthy captions that summarized each story and sparked curiosity. I also contributed to building our content calendar by identifying peak engagement windows and recommending content formats (e.g., carousels, stories, infographics) that would resonate with our student audience.
My contributions helped elevate @peppgraphic’s content strategy from passive posting to intentional storytelling—turning the feed into a dynamic gateway between students and the stories written by their peers
